Effectiveness Measurement

As a requirement of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation, all pipeline companies must measure the 'effectiveness' of their public awareness programs by June 2010.

While we can't change the rules, we can make the process of attempting to satisfy them easier and less costly...

Celeritas has been collecting Effectiveness Measurement data since 2003! Every year we've collected data through Right of Way direct mail responses, web surveys, written surveys, phone surveys, etc. We have collected hundreds of thousands of surveys, from all across the county, and for each of the RP 1162 stakeholder audiences.

And to make that data even more beneficial to pipeline operators, we've stored the data in a geographic information system (GIS) database—the largest of its kind in the country!

  • Are you interested in a quality & cost effective way to survey stakeholders along your assets?
  • Would you like to compare your stakeholders' 'awareness' levels to others in adjoining counties, states or the balance of the country?
  • Would you like to make better, more informative decisions about your public awareness program, based on extensive reporting?
  • And, would you like to take advantage of data you may have already collected?
